GENERAL

The UK CPD is an acronym for the United Kingdom Continuing Professional Development Courses.

Our Professional Certificates fall under the UK CPD Courses. The UK CPD is Non-credit bearing and Non-Degree Programmes.

The Certificates awarded for our CPD Programmes cannot be used as Full Degree Certificates or disguised as such as it carries no credit and cannot be used to pursue an academic Course. However, the relevancy of the certificate lies in the knowledge of the bearer to demonstrate ground knowledge of the subject the certificate was issued in, and this certificate counts towards the appropriate Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

For students who cannot communicate or write in English, we have resources they can access for study alongside our courses.

Once you are able to successfully complete our courses, then you would have met the required English language requirement.

Learners should first visit the Wisdemy Courses page online to view the range of courses on offer to decide on what subjects best suit the learner, he/she should:

- Review the modules within the course, do they interest you? Are they relevant to your chosen career path?

- Consider how the course is taught and assessed, do you have the motivation to study via distance learning? Are you able to work independently? Do you thrive better in a classroom study mode?

It is important that learners understand how they learn best and not try to extend themselves too far or too quickly and choose a path that comfortably progresses from their current level of skills and experience.

OTHM Qualification is an Ofqual regulated body that awards qualifications for colleges in Courses in Management, Business, Tourism and Health & Social Care.

All details can be edited through the student dashboard. Once a student has enrolled they can log in to view their course progress, edit their profile and communicate with the Students Support, Academic Support, and Technical Support.

No, access to the Wisdemy Dashboard is deactivated once you complete your studies with Wisdemy.

If learners have lost or forgotten their login details, they can request a new password by sending an email to tech-support@wisdemy.uk for assistance.

STUDYING ONLINE WITH WISDEMY

As long as you have internet access, any computer or tablet can be used to complete the online modules and courses. You can also study on your phone with our mobile-friendly content.

Yes, but this will only be accessible with an internet connection. All digital interactivity has been coded for compatibility on touch screens. You can also learn the material by printing it off.

The modules themselves are sufficient for passing the associated assessments. The modules contain additional accessible resources that learners may wish to follow through to enhance their learning, and these are provided within the text. Wisdemy also has extra learning resources such as the e-library to aid your study.

Wisdemy has Courses ranging from 1 week to 18 months. The actual duration it takes you to complete your study depends on you.

There are no exemptions or credits within the Wisdemy system of study, and you have to study all the Wisdemy modules to take advantage of our access route. However, if you think you may be exempt from a certain level, then please contact us, and we will advise you. We can also help you with your top-up inquiries if you already have the necessary qualifications.

Students can study the modules in any order and at any pace, to qualify for the University Top-up. It is important to note that all of the modules and assignments required for each level have to be completed in order to earn the certificate for the Level.

All modules have an online assessment. Completion of the requisite number of assessments and written assignments will grant the participant a qualification recognized by a number of world-class universities.

Assessments are research and assignment based.

The interactive activities in the modules include tests, exercises, and assessments that provide a guide to a learner's progress through the module.

Yes. There are no geographical limitations for Wisdemy online courses.
